Diamond Flower Rings
Sparkling Flower Bling
A diamond flower ring or rose ring is always going to be a conversation piece and they can also be the most unusual engagement rings and the BEST Christmas gift!
I never wanted to wear your standard, single diamond focused engagement ring. When my husband wanted to put a ring on my finger, we found this amazing double flower ring that was perfectly suited to our hippie-chic tastes. This is right after the first Sex and the City move, when Samantha receives the rose ring she was outbid on by her boyfriend.
My flower ring came from Macy's. It is 1.6 ct and it retailed for $4800.00, however, I'm not sure you can find this ring there, anymore. I've seen their single flower ring, which was a larger flower and absolutely stunning, and single flower pendant (which my husband bought me as well!). The single ring, I found at a different Macy's, months after I got my double bloom. I also found earrings to match at a La Jolla, CA jewelry store, but I haven't been able to get my husband to splurge on those, just yet!
Flower rings are all the rage, now, and just like a bouquet of roses, they have that great timeless quality that will ensure that they never go out of style.
Here are some of the best that I found to become the next conversation pieces.

Samantha's Sex and the City ring from the House of Bastion
Good luck getting your hands on this ring, but we can dream, can't we? I believe the design house has gone out of business and the ring was rumored to be sold for $500,000.
This famed ring was the one that Samantha Jone's, in the first Sex and the City movie, bid on at an auction. She was going to treat herself simply because she felt she deserved it as a tribute to her own succes.
She lost the auction to a phone bidder that happened to be her boyfriend, although she didn't know it at the time. She was sure to confirm that it was NOT an engagement ring, upon accepting the pricey gift, true to her fear of commitment. His winning bid was only $50,000.
That ring blew me away.
The day we found my engagement ring at Macy's, we didn't buy it right away. I went home and dreamt about this ring thinking about how I could feel as fabulous as Samantha felt with that ring on her fingers. My now husband decided that we were we going to get that ring in the morning.
I truly do feel fabulous every time I wear it.
My Two Flower Engagement Ring
I consider my flower engagement ring more of a cocktail ring, and I don't wear it every day, but I've never grown tired of it. I also get compliments everywhere I go, and people always ask me where I got the ring.
